PRODUCT DETAILS:
A compact evergreen shrub with vivid flowers and pollinator appeal. Little John Dwarf Bottlebrush produces blood-red, bottlebrush-like flower spikes from spring into summer, set against dense blue-green foliage with a citrus scent when crushed. Its slow-growing, rounded habit makes it a great fit for containers, borders, low hedges, and sunny patio plantings where bold color and compact structure are needed.
In the Pacific Northwest, enjoy Little John as a seasonal tropical or grow it in a container that can be protected during cold weather. Plant in full sun with lightly acidic, well-drained soil, water regularly during the first growing season, then reduce watering once established. Prune to shape after flowering
